We are pleased to announce that Material Change’s purchase of Pedersen Contracting Services Limited completed on October 31st 2021.
The acquisition provides MCL with access to chicken muck which is increasingly used as feedstock in our AD sites, replacing a proportion of the grown crops wherever possible. PCS is based in Lincolnshire and is a major contractor across the UK clearing out poultry sheds and moving the muck to power stations and AD sites for energy generation and for use in agriculture as a valuable alternative to artificial fertilisers.
PCS has an excellent reputation for high quality timely delivery of services to the poultry industry and with MCL and Heathpatch support we are keen to build on their recent growth with further expansion.
