Heathpatch Announce Sale of Material Change

Heathpatch are pleased to announce the sale of Material Change Ltd to BioticNRG Ltd, a managed UK-focused bioenergy fund.  This transaction includes Pedersen Contracting Services Ltd (PCS) and our interest in Material Change Asset Company Ltd.

This decision marks a significant milestone for Heathpatch, having grown Material Change since 2006 into a key player in the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) renewable energy and composting industries, and now seeing it become part of BioticNRG, allowing it to further enhance its capabilities in the UK bioenergy market.  Heathpatch purchased PCS, a one-stop shop for poultry cleaning services and litter suppliers, in 2021 and have overseen its transformation into a major supplier to Material Change’s AD operations.

Heathpatch are confident that this transition will bring substantial benefits to all stakeholders, ensuring the continued success of Material Change and Pedersen Contracting Services Ltd under the capable stewardship of the BioticNRG platform.

"This has been a great journey for Heathpatch with Material Change, MCAC and PCS," said Charles Course, CEO of Heathpatch, "We wish everyone well as they take these businesses forward through the next stage of their development".

These sales give Heathpatch increased potential to explore exciting new ventures for the Group, continuing our overriding aim to create a sustainable, profitable business that benefits all stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers, the local community and the environment.
