FOREST SCHOOL SUCCESS IN HEATHPATCH WOODLAND

Earlier this year Heathpatch opened up Calves Wood, a 4.78ha coppice near Whatfield, to a local forest school run by Tanya Cotter.
The children, aged 10-11 years old from Whatfield Primary School, loved looking for fungi and seeing how it had changed with the weather.
The classes gave them time to play and space to explore the natural world around them.
