Busy Month for Nedging Hall Estate

Summer is waning, the harvest is done and the evenings are getting darker but there is still plenty of activity around the Nedging Hall Estate businesses in Suffolk in September:

Bildeston Crown – The BNatural Music Festival – 7th and 8th September

The Bildeston Crown is one of the hosts for this weekend’s live music event.  This free event has been running annually in Bildeston since 2010.  There will be live music all around the village, together with refreshments of course.  The Crown are hosting afternoon sessions of several artistes.  Pop along and enjoy the party atmosphere. Find out more at:  https://www.bnaturalmusicfestival.com/

Our Sudbury based pub is hosting two events this weekend:

Their six band members are based in and around the village of Polstead, Suffolk. Local musicians who have worked together for the past seven years creating a unique and original sound.

Lindsey Rose PH Charity Football Tournament – 8th September

The Lindsey Rose are once again hosting their annual 5-a-side Football Tournament.  The forecast is not bad so come along to sample the BBQ and a drink from the Garden Bar, whilst cheering along a team.  They’re fundraising for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.  Please give them your support:  https://www.justgiving.com/page/the-lindsey-rose-1724483054224

Nedging Hall – Garden Tours

No more garden tours this year as our exquisite gardens start to go to sleep for the winter months, but the tours will be back next year.  Look at what you missed.  Those lawns are truly like velvet to walk on – Thanks to our estate Head Gardener, Miles, and his team, Stuart, Bradley, Evan and Mollie, who are very busy across the whole of the estate but still find time to nurture this beautiful oasis.

Mauldons Brewery Tours

Mauldons opened their doors for some tours and tastings in the summer.  Watch this space for future dates.  You can still book a private tour for up to 12 people to get a closer look at the brewing process.  https://mauldons.co.uk/pages/the-bottle-shop  Plus the Bottle Shop at the brewery in Sudbury is open Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm to pick up your supplies.  Their selection of ales is famous, but their new lager is also getting popular.  Of course, you can also sample the brews in all of our pubs!
