James Buckle gave permission to the Green Light Trust to plant a wood on his land near to Elmsett Primary School.

Ponds and Rivers
Heathpatch has started work on clearing ponds across the farm, guided by priorities set by Juliet Hawkins. Juliet is one of the country’s leading pond ecologists and pond historians
Calves Wood
Heathpatch are committed to establishing open canopy woodland.
A substantial project was started in the 1990’s to plant trees at Calves Wood, Whatfield, previously arable ground.
Trees and Hedges
Tree planting has continued apace since the planting of Calves Wood with approximately 48,000 trees planted in the last few years.
